Richard has come to Green Tape Solutions from Brisbane City Council, where he has worked since 2005. Richard has a very high level of understanding of Brisbane City Plan 2014 and relevant State Legislation and Policies including the Qld Environmental Offsets Act 2014, the State Planning Policy and associated Mapping/Guidelines, Schedules 10 & 11 of the Planning Regulation 2017, the SEQ Koala Conservation Strategy, the Vegetation Management Act 1999 and Bushfire Resilient Communities. A strong understanding and experience with Australian Standards AS-3959 (Construction of Buildings in Bushfire Prone Areas) and AS-4970 (Protection of Trees on Development Sites).

Richard has a very strong technical expertise, as well as extensive experience in the preparation of technical reports in the following areas:

• Rehabilitation Management Plans and Monitoring
• Significant Species Management Plans
• Bushfire planning advice, including site-specific bushfire hazard/risk assessments, preparation of bushfire management plans and provision of advice regarding compliance with relevant legislation, guidelines and standards;
• Technical advice including due diligence advice
